Intro to Ephesians

Starting Monday, we’ll be praying through the New Testament book EPHESIANS.

Paul uses the phrase “in Christ” 27 times in Ephesians to show believers all that we have and are as followers of Jesus. Our prayers will focus on how to live life as a believer in Jesus.

*Imagine what others would see in us if we asked God to help us live for the praise of His glory, to live lives worthy of the calling we have received in Christ, to live as children of the light, and to daily put off our old self and put on the new self.

*What would happen if we prayed for believers around the world to stand firm in the Lord?

*What victories would we see if we prayed each piece of the armor of God over our families so that as Ephesians 6 says, after we have done everything we might still remain standing strong in the Lord’s mighty power?

*What would our marriages look like if we prayed for loving husbands & submissive wives?

As believers in Christ who have been given every spiritual blessing, let’s live together for the praise of His glory!  Join us on a 5-week journey through Ephesians and pray about asking someone to join you.

I find this one of the most enjoyable ways to read through the Bible. Very creative .
Regarding this particular prayer session, I absolutely appreciate the way all of these prayers have been laid out. It’s awesome to learn how to actually pray by using scripture. This is a new concept for me and I really enjoy it. I was able to pray for a few people in my family that need guidance and God’s grace. Ephesians is most certainly the right place to go for those kinds of prayers. Thank you!

Thank you, Dianna! It is a joy to hear how you were specifically touched by this passage of God’s Word and that you are loving praying God’s Word. Many blessings to you and your family!
