Psalm 18:1-18

Please take a moment to pray these scriptures over someone today.  You may want to READ or LISTEN to the chapter before you begin.

18:1   May ______ say of You, “I love you, O Lord, my strength.”

18:2   Lord, I pray that You would be ______’s rock, fortress, and deliverer. May ______ know that You are his/her rock. May ______ take refuge in You. Be ______’s shield and the horn of his/her salvation, ______’s stronghold.

18:3     May ______ call to You, Lord, who are worthy of praise, and know that You (are able to) save ______ from his/her enemies.

18:6   May ______ call to You, Lord, in his/her distress. May ______ cry to You, God, for help and know that You hear his/her voice, and that his/her cry comes before You into Your ears.

18:18     Lord, be ______’s support.

YOUR STORY of the week: “I want my children to know and hear what I am praying over them.  In the mornings, we read the daily verses together over breakfast. When we are in the car, I pray the verses out loud specifically over each child, one at a time, speaking it over them as we are driving.  Sometimes I have my 9-year-old son read the verses out loud and have him pray them over himself, or sometimes over his sister who is also in the car.  I want them to hear the bold prayers that are being prayed over them each day.” -Amy

We love how Amy is using the daily prayers. How are YOU using them? We’d love to hear! Email us and we will share YOUR story or idea to encourage others.
