Pray Leviticus 10 & 17

Today we begin a short, six-day journey through the book of Leviticus.  Leviticus was written to the nation of Israel and the Levitical priests. Therefore, in our search for verses that would be applicable to pray over our lives today, we have been very careful to honor the context in which these scriptures were written. We have also chosen verses that speak to the character of God, verses that will enable us to glorify God in our lives, and verses that will help us to grow in godly character.   Our journey begins in chapter 10.

Please take a moment to pray these scriptures over someone today.  You may want to READ or listen to chapters TEN and SEVENTEEN before you begin.

Leviticus 10:3     Lord, You said to the Israelites, “Among those who approach Me, I will show myself holy. In the sight of all people I will be honored.” May ______ know that You are a holy God, that You alone are deserving of honor, and that You will be honored in the sight of all people.

Leviticus 10:11   Lord, as you told Aaron to “teach the Israelites all the decrees the Lord has given them through Moses,” may ______ be faithful to teach Your Word to those in his/her care.

Leviticus 17:11   May ______ know and understand that through Moses You said, “It is the blood that makes atonement for one’s life.” Thank You, Jesus, that your blood has made atonement for ______’s life.

QUESTION: Who is in your care that God is calling you to teach His word, speak about His word, or live out His Word before them? Parents, are you being faithful to teach God’s word to your children?

SHARE:  Please share today’s prayers with someone via email, text, social media, or word of mouth, &  help us create a movement of praying scripture.
