Psalm 19:1-9

We have finished our journey through Leviticus! We will pray through Psalm 19 and 20 and  begin a new book on Monday.

Please take a moment to pray these scriptures over someone today.  You may want to READ or LISTEN to the chapter before you begin.

19:1     May ______ know that the heavens declare Your glory, God; the skies proclaim the work of Your hands.

19:7     May ______ know that Your law, Lord, is perfect, reviving the soul.  May ______ know that Your statutes are trustworthy, making wise the simple.

19:8    May ______ know that Your precepts, Lord, are right, giving joy to the heart. May ______ know that Your commands are radiant, giving light to the eyes.

19:9    May ______ know that the fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever.  May ______ know that Your ordinances are sure and altogether righteous.

QUESTION:  How have you experienced God’s Word “reviving your soul?” In what ways does it give joy to your heart?

YOUR STORY of the week: “When I stumbled upon, I was in the midst of a spiritual war, and felt I was losing momentum in my prayer life. These prayers were a perfect way to come to the Lord with my requests when words failed me. When a friend confided in me of her own personal crisis, I immediately shared how praying the scriptures was such a blessing in my life. She didn’t even have the strength to boot up her computer to view the daily prayers, so I started taking screenshots of the prayers and texting the pictures of the verses to her. She said that the texts came to her when she needed them the most. How freeing for me to have the best words, advice, and encouragement for a hurting friend — the gift of God’s perfect spoken Word!”  -Abby
