We have finished our journey through Deuteronomy! We will take a breather in between books by spending the next seven days in Psalm 27-29, and will then begin Matthew on Monday, April 6th.
Psalm 27:1 May ______ say of You, “The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life, of whom shall I be afraid?”
Psalm 27:2-3 When evil men advance against ______ to devour his/her flesh, when ______’s enemies and foes attack him/her, may they stumble and fall. Though an army besieges ______, may his/her heart not fear; though war breaks out against ______, even then, may he/she be confident.
Psalm 27:4 David prayed, “One thing I ask Lord, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple.” (NIV) May ______’s prayer also be to dwell in Your house, to gaze upon Your beauty, and to seek You, Lord.
QUESTION: If the Lord is truly the stronghold of your life, what fears can you let go of today?
