Pray Job 1-5
Today we begin our journey through the book of Job! Take a moment to pray these scriptures over someone today. You may want to READ or listen to chapters ONE, TWO, and FIVE before you begin.
Job 1:1 May ______, like Job, be blameless and upright, fear You, God, and shun evil.
Job 1:20b-21 “Then [Job] fell to the ground in worship and said: ‘Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked I will depart. The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; may the name of the Lord be praised.’” When ______ is faced with great trials or loss, may he/she also be willing to worship You, Lord, and praise Your name.
Job 2:3b “And [Job] still maintains his integrity, though you [Satan] incited Me against him to ruin him without any reason.” May ______, like Job, be one who is willing to maintain his/her integrity regardless of what circumstances or trials may come.
Job 2:10 “‘Shall we accept good from God, and not trouble?’ In all this, Job did not sin in what he said.” May ______ be willing to accept both the good and the bad things that come from God.
Job 5:16 May ______ know and believe that the man whom God corrects is blessed. May ______ not despise Your discipline, Lord Almighty.
