Today we begin our third (and final!) journey through the book of Proverbs. What better way to start the coming New Year than to pray for God’s wisdom in Proverbs! Take a moment to pray these scriptures over someone today. You may want to READ or LISTEN to the chapter before you begin.
Proverbs 21:2 May ______ know that all of ______’s ways seem right to him/her, but You, Lord, weigh his/her heart.
Proverbs 21:3 “To do what is right and just is more acceptable to You, Lord, than sacrifice.” May ______ be one who does what is right and just.
Proverbs 21:4 “Haughty eyes and a proud heart, the lamp of the wicked, are sin!” May ______ never have haughty eyes or a proud heart.
Proverbs 21:9 “Better to live on a corner of the roof than share a house with a quarrelsome wife.” May ______ choose not to be a quarrelsome wife.
QUESTION: Are you ever guilty of having haughty eyes or a proud heart? Go to the Lord in repentance today.
