Today we begin our 3-day journey through the book of Jonah. We encourage you to read the entire book of Jonah in one sitting. You will be amazed at our God! Take a moment to pray these scriptures over someone today.  You may want to READ or LISTEN to the chapter before you begin.

Jonah 1:3     “ ‘Go to the great city of Nineveh and preach against it, because its wickedness has come up before me.’ But Jonah ran away from the Lord and headed for Tarshish.” May ______ never run away from You, Lord, or what You call him/her to do.

Jonah 1:9     “He answered, ‘I am a Hebrew and I worship the Lord, the God of heaven, who made the sea and the land.’” May ______ believe that you are the Lord, the God of heaven, who made the sea and the land, and may he/she worship You.

Jonah 1:16a     “At this the men greatly feared the Lord.” May ______ greatly fear You, Lord.

Jonah 1:17     “But the Lord provided a great fish to swallow Jonah, and Jonah was inside the fish three days and three nights.” May ______ know that You, Lord, provide. Even when Your ways or methods do not make sense, You provide.
