Coming up next we will begin a 14-day journey through the book of Colossians. Paul’s letter to the believers at Colosse gives an in-depth description of who Jesus Christ is and what the life of His followers should look like as they rely on Him as completely sufficient to meet every need. There is much to learn from this book as Paul addresses so many aspects of the Christian life: marriage, parenting, loving others, salvation, work, and much more.

Our prayer time will also cover a variety of practical topics as we look at living our lives as followers of Jesus.

-We will pray for a firm faith that is rooted and built up in Jesus.

-We will ask God to help us put on the new self, renewed in the knowledge and image of God.

-We will ask God to help us set our minds on things above, not on earthly things.

-We will ask for Jesus’ peace to rule in our hearts and His word to dwell in us richly.

Whether you are single or married, child or adult, lifelong believer or brand new in the faith, there is something for you in the book of Colossians.
