Matthew 6:28-34 (Prayers about Worry)

Take a moment to pray these scriptures over someone today. You may want to READ or LISTEN to the chapter before you begin.

Matthew 6:28      May ______ not worry about clothes. Help ______ to see how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin, yet not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. Remind ______ that if that is how You clothe the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, You [will also clothe him/her].

Matthew 6:32b      May ______ know that You, Heavenly Father, know that he/she needs [food and clothing].

Matthew 6:33      May ______ seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, and [know that] all these things will be given to him/her as well.

Matthew 6:34     Help ______ not to worry about tomorrow. Remind ______ that tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

QUESTION: How are you seeking God’s kingdom and His righteousness today?
