Pray Psalm 146:1-6

Take a moment to pray these scriptures over someone today.  You may want to READ or LISTEN to the chapter before you begin.

Psalm 146:1     May ______ praise the Lord. May ______’s soul praise You, Lord.

Psalm 146:2     May ______ praise You, Lord, all of his/her life. May ______ say, “I will sing praise to my God as long as I live.”

Psalm 146:3     “Do not put your trust in princes, in mortal men who cannot save.” May _______ not put his/her trust in people, Lord, but truly believe that it is You alone who saves.

Psalm 146:5-6   “Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord his God, the Maker of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them — the Lord, who remains faithful forever.” May ______ know that You, God, are his/her help. May ______’s hope be in You alone. May ______ know that You remain faithful forever.

QUESTION: Is there anyone or anything that you are putting your hope in today rather than the Lord who alone remains faithful forever?
