Please take a moment to pray these scriptures over someone today. You may want to READ or LISTEN  to the chapter before you begin.

This Psalm of David was written when he felt forgotten by the Lord and had sorrow in his heart every day. You may know someone who is currently in a similar circumstance. If not, ask God to show you who you can pray this over today. 

Psalm 13:3   O Lord God, please look on ______ and answer him/her. Give light to his/her eyes.

Psalm 13:5   May ______ say to You, Lord, “But I trust in Your unfailing love: my heart rejoices in Your salvation.”

Psalm 13:6   May ______ say of You, “I will sing to the Lord, for He has been good to me.”

QUESTION: Has there ever been a time when you felt distant from the Lord or forgotten by Him yet still trusted in His unfailing love and could still say of Him, “He has been good to me”? In what ways did He show you that He was still there?
