Pray Deuteronomy 27-30

Take a moment to pray these scriptures over someone today.  You may want to READ or listen to chapters 27, 28, 29, and 30 before you begin.

(When you see the words “commands,” “laws,” and “decrees,” remember that this text was spoken to the Israelites regarding specific commands for them. We pray this regarding the commands God has given us in His complete Word.)

Deuteronomy 27:10     May ______ obey You, Lord God, and follow Your commands.

Deuteronomy 28:58     May ______ know that Your name, God, is a glorious and awesome name, and is to be revered.

Deuteronomy 30:4     Lord, You said to the Israelites, “Even if you have been banished to the most distant land under the heavens, from there the Lord your God will gather you and bring you back.” May ______ know You are a God who always seeks to gather His people and bring them back to Him when they have strayed.

Deuteronomy 30:6     Lord, may You circumcise ______’s heart so that he/she may love You with all his/her heart and with all his/her soul, and live.

QUESTION: Has there ever been a time in your life that the Lord pursued You to gather you and bring you back? Have you seen the Lord do this with someone in your life?

The Lord seeks to gather people and bring them back to Him when they’ve strayed. Who needs to hear this today? Click To Tweet
