Take a moment to pray these scriptures over someone today.  You may want to READ or LISTEN to the chapter before you begin.

Mark 8:34     “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.” May ______ come after You, Jesus, deny himself/herself, and take up his/her cross and follow You.

Mark 8:35     May ______ know and believe that “whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me and for the gospel will save it.” May ______ be willing to lose his/her life for You and the gospel, Lord, knowing this will save his/her life.

Mark 8:36     “What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, yet forfeit his soul?” May ______ never forfeit his/her soul in order to gain anything.

Mark 8:37     “If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when he comes in his Father’s glory with the holy angels.” May ______ never be ashamed of You or Your words, Jesus.
