Today we begin praying through the book of II Timothy. Take a moment to pray these scriptures over someone today. You may want to READ or LISTEN to the chapter before you begin. 

1:1  May ______ know that in You, Jesus, is the promise of life.

1:5  May ______, like Timothy, have a sincere faith.

1:7  (May ______ know that) You did not give him/her a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love, and of self-discipline.

1:8  May ______ not be ashamed to testify about You, Lord, but be willing to join in with others in suffering for the gospel.

1:9  By Your power, save ______ and call him/her to a holy life because of Your purpose and grace.
(Or) Thank You, Lord, that you have saved ______ and called him/her to a holy life because of Your purpose and grace.

QUESTION:  Ask yourself today, “Would I be willing to suffer for the gospel”?
