Please take a moment to pray these scriptures over someone today.  You may want to READ or LISTEN to the chapter before you begin. 

Leviticus 19:2   “Be holy because I, the Lord your God, am holy.” May ______ know that You, God, are holy.

Leviticus 19:3a     May ______ respect his/her mother and father.

Leviticus 19:9-10  Lord, You commanded the Israelites, “Do not reap to the very edges of your field or gather the gleanings of your harvest. Do not go over your vineyard a second time or pick up the grapes that have fallen. Leave them for the poor and the alien.” Lord, help ______ to know that You are a God who sees and cares for the poor.

QUESTION: How do verses 9 and 10 affect your view of God, learning that even from the beginning He has always seen, cared for, and made provisions for the poor?
