Pray Mark 14-15

Take a moment to pray these scriptures over someone today.  You may want to READ or listen to chapters 14 and 15 before you begin.

Mark 14:36     “Abba, Father,” [Jesus] said, “everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.” May ______ be willing to pray as Jesus did, “yet not what I will, but what You will.”

Mark 14:38     May ______ watch and pray so that he/she will not fall into temptation. May ______ know that the spirit is willing but the body is weak.

Mark 14:61b-62   “Again the high priest asked him, ‘Are you the Christ, the Son of the Blessed One?’ ‘I am,’ said Jesus. ‘And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven.’” May ______ know and firmly believe that You, Jesus, are the Christ, God’s Son, and one day You will be sitting at God’s right hand coming on the clouds of heaven.

Mark 15:39     May ______ confess about You, Jesus, as the centurion did, “Surely this man was the Son of God!”

QUESTION: Are you able to pray as Jesus did, “not my will, but Yours, Father?”
