Pray 1 Corinthians 15:44-54

Please take a moment to pray these scriptures over someone today. You may want to READ or LISTEN to the chapter before you begin.

1 Corinthians 15:42-44     “So will it be with the resurrection of the dead. The body that is sown is perishable; it is raised imperishable. It is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness; it is raised in power. It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body.” Thank You, Father, for Your promise that ______ can look forward one day to having an imperishable, glorious, spiritual body that is raised in power by You.

1 Corinthians 15:51     “Listen, I tell you a mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed — in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.” Thank You, Jesus, that You promise to one day return for ______ and that he/she will be changed for eternity.

1 Corinthians 15:54     “When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: ‘Death has been swallowed up in victory.’” Thank you, Lord, that in You, death will be forever swallowed up in victory!

QUESTION: Do the circumstances of life or the state of the world right now have you down? Remember what lies in store for those of us who are in Christ Jesus, and let that bring you hope as you wait patiently for Him to return!
