Pray Exodus 16 & 17

Please take a moment to pray these scriptures over someone today.  You may want to READ or listen chapters SIXTEEN or SEVENTEEN before you begin. (Click on the actual number of the chapter you want to listen to.)

16:4   May ______ know and believe that You rained down bread from heaven.

16:8   Just as the Israelites grumbled against Moses and he said to them, “You are not grumbling against us, but against the LORD”, may ______ know that when he/she grumbles or complains, it is ultimately against the LORD. (And convict me, Lord, that when I grumble I am ultimately grumbling against You.)

16:29   May ______ bear in mind that You have given the Sabbath.

17:12   Just as Aaron and Hur held up Moses’ hands when they grew tired during Joshua’s battle with the Amalekites, may _____ have godly friends to come alongside him/her when he/she is tired and in need of someone to help.

17:15   May ______ know you as (Jehovah Nissi) “The Lord is my Banner, for hands were lifted up to the throne of the Lord”. (In reference to Moses’ hands during the battle with the Amalekites).

QUESTION: Who are the people in your life holding up your weary arms? Whose arms are you holding up as they grow weary in doing what God has called them to do?
