Today we begin an eight-day journey through the book of Joshua! Take a moment to pray these scriptures over someone today.  You may want to READ or LISTEN to the chapter before you begin.

Joshua 1:5     Lord, you said to Joshua, “No one will be able to stand up against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you.” May ______ know that You will also be with him/her, and You will never leave or forsake him/her.

Joshua 1:7     May ______ be strong and very courageous and be careful to obey all that [You, God, command]. May ______ not turn from [Your commands] to the right or to the left, so that ______ may be successful where he/she goes.

Joshua 1:8     May ______ not let this Book of the Law depart from his/her mouth. May ______ meditate on it day and night, so that he/she may be careful to do everything written in it. Then, may ______ be prosperous and successful.

Joshua 1:9     May _______ know that You have commanded that he/she be strong and courageous. May ______ not be terrified. May ______ not be discouraged, for You, God, will be with ______ wherever he/she goes.
