Today we begin an eight-day journey through the book of 1st Samuel. We ask you to join us in praying 1st Samuel over the next generation as the prayers seem fitting to do so.

Take a moment to pray these scriptures over someone today.  You may want to READ or LISTEN to the chapter before you begin.

1 Samuel 1:10     May ______, who has a bitterness of soul and much weeping, pray to You, Lord, as Hannah did.

1 Samuel 1:15     May ______, who is deeply troubled, pour out his/her soul to You, Lord.

1 Samuel 1:16     May ______ pray to You, God, out of his/her great anguish and grief.

1 Samuel 1:28     Just as Hannah gave Samuel over to You, Lord, I give my child, ______, over to You. For ______’s whole life, he/she will be given over to You, Lord.
