Take a moment to pray these scriptures over someone today.  You may want to READ or LISTEN to the chapter before you begin.

Psalm 47:2     May ______ know how awesome You are, Lord Most High, the great King over all the earth!

Psalm 47:6a     May ______ sing praises to You, God.

Psalm 47:7     May ______ know and believe that You, God, are the King of all the earth. May he/she sing to You a psalm of praise.

Psalm 47:8     May ______ know that You, God, reign over the nations. You are seated on Your holy throne.

Psalm 47:9     “The nobles of the nations assemble as the people of the God of Abraham, for the kings of the earth belong to God. He is greatly exalted.” May ______ find hope in the fact that You, God, are sovereign over all the earth — the kings (and leaders) of the earth belong to You.

QUESTION: Despite all that is going on in the world today, reflect on the fact that God is truly the great king and ruler over all the earth. In what ways does this give you peace?
