Pray Psalm 55 (A Prayer for the Persecuted)

Take a moment to pray these scriptures over someone today.  You may want to READ or LISTEN to the chapter before you begin.

Psalm 55:1-3     Listen to ______’s prayer, O God. May ______ know that You do not ignore his/her plea. Hear ______ and answer him/her.

Psalm 55:16     May ______ call to You, God. It is You, Lord, who will save him/her.

Psalm 55:17-18     Evening, morning, and noon when ______ cries out in distress, may ______ know You hear his/her voice. Ransom ______unharmed from the battle waged against ______, even though many oppose him/her.

Psalm 55:22     May ______ cast his/her cares on You, Lord. You will sustain him/her. Remind ______ that You will never let the righteous fall.

Psalm 55:23       “But you, O God, will bring down the wicked into the pit of corruption; bloodthirsty and deceitful men will not live out half their days.” May ______ continually say, “But as for me, I trust in You.”

QUESTION: When you are surrounded by trials, troubles, or persecutions, do you continually say, “Be as for me, I trust in You?”
