Take a moment to pray these scriptures over someone today. You may want to READ or listen to chapters 14 and 15 before you begin.
1 Kings 14:8b May ______ be like King David who kept Your commands, followed You with all his heart, and did only what was right in Your eyes.
1 Kings 15:5 “For David had done what was right in the eyes of the Lord and had not failed to keep any of the Lord’s commands all the days of his life – except in the case of Uriah the Hittite.” May ______ do what is right in Your eyes and never fail to keep your commands all the days of his/her life.
1 Kings 15:11 May ______ be like King Asa, who did what was right in Your eyes, Lord.
1 Kings 15:14b May ______ be like King Asa, and have a heart fully committed to You, Lord, all his/her life.
QUESTION: Do you find yourself doing what is right in the eyes of the Lord, or are you doing what is right in your own eyes?
