Take a moment to pray these scriptures over someone today.  You may want to READ or listen to chapters 41 and 42 before you begin.

Job 41:11     May ______ know and believe that everything under heaven belongs to You, Lord.

Job 42:2     May ______ know and believe that You, Lord, can do all things. No plan of Yours can be thwarted.

Job 42:5     “My ears had heard of You, but now my eyes have seen You. Therefore I despise myself and repent in dust and ashes.” May ______, like Job, respond to You in the reverence and humility which You deserve.

Job 42:12, 17 “The Lord blessed the latter part of Job’s life more than the first. … And so he died, old and full of years.” May ______ experience greater blessing where there has been great loss.

QUESTION: When Job heard the Lord speak to him, his response was to despise himself and repent in humility. Do you share the same humility before God today as you consider how awesome, powerful, and vast our God is?
