Take a moment to pray these scriptures over someone today.  You may want to READ or LISTEN to the chapter before you begin.

1 Thessalonians 4:1a     May ______ live in order to please You, God.

1 Thessalonians 4:3-5     May ______ be sanctified, avoid sexual immorality, and learn to control his/her own body in a way that is holy and honorable, not in passionate lust like the heathen who do now know You, God, for this is Your will.

1 Thessalonians 4:6     In this matter, (listed above) may ________ not wrong his/her brother/sister or take advantage of him/her. May ______ know that You, Lord, will punish men for all such sins.

1 Thessalonians 4:7     May ______ know that You, God, did not call him/her to be impure, but to live a holy life. May ______ live a holy life.

1 Thessalonians 4:8     May ______ know that “he who rejects this instruction does not reject man but God, who gives you his Holy Spirit.” May ______ not reject You or Your instruction, Lord.
