Take a moment to pray these scriptures over someone today.  You may want to READ or LISTEN to the chapter before you begin.

1 John 3:11     May ______ know that we should love one another. May ______ be one who loves others.

1 John 3:13     May ______ not be surprised if the world hates him/her.

1 John 3:16    “This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down His life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers.” May ______ be one who is willing to lay down his/her’s life for his/her brothers.

1 John 3:17     “If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him?” May ______ be one who has Your love in him/her and takes action to love those in need.

3:18     May ______ be one who does not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.
