Take a moment to pray these scriptures over someone today. You may want to READ or LISTEN to the chapter before you begin. 

There are many suffering around the world for the cause of Christ. Even if you don’t know anyone by name, today lift up your brothers and sisters in Christ around the world.

1 Peter 4:12     May ______ not be surprised at the painful trial he/she is suffering, as though something strange were happening to him/her.

1 Peter 4:13     May ______ rejoice that he/she participates in the sufferings of Christ, so that he/she may be overjoyed when his/her glory is revealed.

1 Peter 4:14     May ______ know that if he/she is insulted because of the name of Christ, ______ is blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on him/her.

1 Peter 4:16     If ______ suffers as a Christian, may he/she not be ashamed, but praise You, God, that he/she bears that name.

1 Peter 4:19     If ______ suffers according to Your will, God, may ______ commit himself/herself to You, his/her faithful Creator, and continue to do good.
