Pray Psalm 141

Take a moment to pray these scriptures over someone today.  You may want to READ or LISTEN to the chapter before you begin.

Psalm 141:1   May ______ call to You, O Lord. Come quickly to him/her. Hear ______’s voice when he/she calls to You.

Psalm 141:2     May ______’s prayer be set before You like incense. May the lifting up of ______’s hands be like the evening sacrifice.

Psalm 141:3     Set a guard over ______’s mouth, O Lord; keep watch over the door of his/her lips.

Psalm 141:4a     May ______’s heart not be drawn to what is evil.

Psalm 141:8a     May ______ fix his/her eyes on You, O Sovereign Lord. May ______take refuge in You.

QUESTION: If the Lord set a guard over your mouth, what words currently come out of it would be stopped? Take some time to think about this and repent of any sins of the tongue that do not honor the Lord.
