Take a moment to pray these scriptures over someone today.  You may want to READ or LISTEN to the chapter before you begin.

1 John 4:18   May ______ know there is no fear in love. “But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.”

1 John 4:19   May ______ know that he/she loves because You, God, first loved him/her.

1 John 4:20   May ______ know and live in light of the knowledge that “if anyone says, ‘I love God,’ yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen.”

1 John 4:21     May ______ know that You, God, have given this command: “Whoever loves God must also love his brother.” God, help ______ to love You and to love others.

QUESTION: Is there someone in your life that is hard for you to love? Ask God to help you love this person today because God first loved You.
