Take a moment to pray these scriptures over someone today. You may want to READ or LISTEN to the chapter before you begin. 

1 Peter 2:9     May ______ know that he/she belongs to a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to You, God, so that he/she may declare Your praises, the One called _______ out of darkness into Your wonderful light.

1 Peter 2:10     May ______ know and live in light of the knowledge that once he/she was not a people, but now he/she is part of the people of God; once ______ had not received mercy, but now he/she has received mercy.

1 Peter 2:11     May ______ know that he/she is an alien and a stranger in the world. May ______ abstain from sinful desires which war against his/her soul.

1 Peter 2:12     May ______ live such a good life among [the lost] that, though they accuse ______ of doing wrong, they may see his/her good deeds and glorify You, God.
