Two Year Update!

It is hard to believe that as of May 19th, we have officially been online for two years! We are so thankful for what God has done and is doing through this ministry. Thank YOU for praying God’s Word, emailing the prayers and sharing the social media posts with others, asking others to join you in prayer, and for praying for our ministry. You are a huge part of prayScripture.org, and we are so thankful for YOU!

We want to update you on where we’ve been, where we’re headed, and who has joined our volunteer team, as well as showcase the photographers who have donated their beautiful, original photos to help our ministry grow through social media. (Please check out their websites and their work!) We’ve also listed 5 different ways you can continue to help our ministry to grow and impact others.

Where we’ve been:

We have prayed through 36 books of the Bible so far!
(21 Old Testament books, 15 New Testament books, 71 Psalms, and 20 Proverbs.)

Where we’re headed
:

This summer we will pray through Ecclesiastes, Song of Solomon,
Psalm 73-80, James, and Isaiah.

Our Team of Volunteers:

Danielle- Writer/Website Manager  FullSizeRender-2
Danielle, along with her husband Austin, began prayScripture.org in May 2014. While Austin serves the Lord daily in the business world, Danielle spends her days raising their sweet, loving, & rambunctious boys, Raef (4), Thatch (3), and Shepherd (11 days old). She joyfully squeezes in reading, writing, and posting for prayScripture during nap times, after kid bedtimes, and any other available times during the week. Hearing stories of God answering prayers through people praying scripture is one of her greatest joys. (Have a story to share? Email us!)

unnamed-3Renee- Editor/Proofreader
Renee is a mother of three and wife to Chad, who is on staff with Young Life International. Renee spends her days attempting to nurture a love for literature and writing in high school juniors who take her English classes. Renee serves our ministry by proof-reading every prayer, post, and line of content that is typed and sent out into the world. We are SO thankful for her selfless work and time committed to serving this ministry!

unnamed-3Caroline- Social Media/Graphic Design
Caroline graduated in 2015 from Wichita State University with a degree in Integrated Marketing Communication. Caroline has one roommate, Oliver the Maltipoo. She spends her days working for Brothers & Company as an Assistant Account Executive, but volunteers her time and talents to create the beautiful graphics seen daily on our Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter accounts. Caroline’s work serves as a visual guide that leads people to pray God’s Word daily. We are immensely grateful to have her on our team!

5 Ways YOU Can Help:

1. Spread the word. Share our prayers with others via email, social media, or word of mouth.
2.  Invite Photographers. Contact photographers you think would be willing to share their original photos for our social media posts. Or email us their info and we’ll contact them.
3. Share your story. Send us the story of how you use our daily prayers or how God has answered one or more of your prayers. We’ll share it to encourage others!
4. Pray for us. We would be honored if you kept our ministry in mind when you go before the Lord in prayer!
5.  Follow us on Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook, and share, share, share!
