Pray Deuteronomy 20-26

Take a moment to pray these scriptures over someone today.  You may want to READ or listen to chapters 20 and 26 before you begin. (Click on the actual number of the chapter you want to listen to.)

(When you see the words “commands,” “laws,” and “decrees,” remember that this text was spoken to the Israelites regarding specific commands for them. We pray this regarding the commands God has given us in His complete Word.)

Deuteronomy 20:4     May ______ know that You, Lord, are the One who goes with ______ to fight for him/her against his/her enemies, and give ______ victory, just as You did for the Israelites.

Deuteronomy 26:11     Just as You commanded the Israelites, may ______ rejoice in all the good things that You, God, have given to him/her.

Deuteronomy 26:13b     May ______ one day be able to say to You, God, “I have not turned aside from Your commands nor have I forgotten any of them.”

Deuteronomy 26:14b     May ______ one day be able to say to You, God, “I have obeyed the Lord my God; I have done everything You commanded me.”

Deuteronomy 26:17     May ______ declare to You, Lord, that he/she will walk in Your ways, keep Your decrees, commands, and laws, and obey You.
