Pray Matthew 5:8-12 (The Beatitudes)

Take a moment to pray these scriptures over someone today. You may want to READ or LISTEN to the chapter before you begin.

Matthew 5:8     “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.”  May ______ be pure in heart.

Matthew 5:9     “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God.” May ______ be a peacemaker.

Matthew 5:10     “Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” When ______ is persecuted, may he/she be comforted knowing that You have promised him/her the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 5:11-12a     “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.” When ______ is insulted and persecuted, may ______ rejoice and be glad because great is his/her reward in heaven.

QUESTION: Who is someone you know under persecution because of the name of Jesus? Pray for them today.
