Pray Matthew 5:1-7 (The Beatitudes)
Take a moment to pray these scriptures over someone today. You may want to READ or LISTEN to the chapter before you begin.
Matthew 5:3 “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” May ______ be one who recognizes that he/she is poor in spirit before You and without You, Lord.
Matthew 5:4 “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.” When ______ mourns, may he/she be comforted by You, Lord.
Matthew 5:5 “Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.” May ______ be one who is meek.
Matthew 5:6 “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.” May ______ hunger and thirst for righteousness.
Matthew 5:7 “Blessed are the merciful for they will be shown mercy.” May ______ be one who is merciful to others.
QUESTION: Ask yourself today, “Am I truly hungry for righteousness?”
