Pray Ezra 7-9

Today will be our only day in the book of Ezra.  Take a moment to pray these scriptures over someone today.  You may want to READ or listen to chapters SEVEN, EIGHT, or NINE before you begin. You may also want to read the entire book of Ezra HERE.

7:6,9     “The king had granted [Ezra] everything he asked, for the hand of the Lord his God was on him.” (9) “For the gracious hand of his God was on him.” May Your gracious hand, Lord, be on ______ as it was on Ezra.

7:10   “For Ezra had devoted himself to the study and observance of the Law of the Lord, and to teaching its decrees and laws in Israel.” May ______ devote himself/herself to studying, keeping, and teaching Your word, Lord.

7:28b     “Because the hand of the Lord my God was on me (Ezra), I took courage and gathered leading men from Israel to go up with me.” May ______ take courage in leading others to follow and serve You, Lord, knowing Your hand is upon him/her.

8:23     “So we fasted and petitioned our God about this, and He answered our prayer.” May ______ be one who is willing to fast and petition You, Lord, knowing You will answer his/her prayer.

9:15a     May ______ know and believe that You, O Lord, are righteous.
