Pray Nehemiah 5-8

Take a moment to pray these scriptures over someone today.  You may want to READ or listen to chapters 5, 6, 7, or 8 before you begin.

Nehemiah 5:15b     “But out of reverence for God, I did not act like that.” May ______ have a reverence for You, God, that governs everything he/she says and does.

Nehemiah 7:2     “I put in charge of Jerusalem my brother Hannani, along with Hananiah the commander of the citadel, because he was a man of integrity and feared God more than most men do.” May ______ be a man/woman of integrity and fear You, God.

Nehemiah 8:3     “He read [the Law] aloud from daybreak till noon as he faced the square before the Water Gate in the presence of the men, women and others who could understand. And all the people listened attentively to the Book of the Law.” May ______ be one who listens attentively to Your Word, Lord.

Nehemiah 8:10b     May the joy of the Lord be ______’s strength.
