Take a moment to pray these scriptures over someone today.  You may want to READ or LISTEN to the chapter before you begin.

Isaiah 58:9     May ______ call, knowing that You, Lord, will answer. When ______ cries for help, remind him/her that You will say, “Here I am.”

Isaiah 58:10a     May ______ spend himself/herself on behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed.

Isaiah 58:11     May You, Lord, guide ______ always. Satisfy ______’s needs in a sun-scorched land and strengthen his/her frame. May ______ be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.

QUESTION: In what ways are you spending yourself on behalf of the hungry or satisfying the needs of the oppressed? This is a very challenging question!
