Pray Deuteronomy 1 and 2

Today we begin an exciting 5-week journey through the book of Deuteronomy!

Take a moment to pray these scriptures over someone today.  You may want to READ or listen chapters ONE and TWO before you begin.

Deuteronomy 1:30     Moses said to the Israelites, “The Lord your God, who is going before you, will fight for you, as He did for you in Egypt, before your very eyes.” May ______ know that You, Lord, go before ______ and You fight for him/her.

Deuteronomy 1:31     Lord, You carried Israel as a father carries his son. May ______ know that You also carry him/her like a father carries his son.

Deuteronomy 1:36     May ______ be like Caleb and follow You, Lord, wholeheartedly.

Deuteronomy 2:7   Lord, You blessed the work of the Israelites’ hands, You watched over their journey through the desert, and for forty years You were with them so that they never lacked anything. Lord, may You also bless the work of ______’s hands, watch over ______, and be with ______ so that he/she never lacks anything. May ______ know you as a God who protects and provides.

QUESTION: Can you think of a time you felt carried by the arms of your Heavenly Father?
