Pray Deuteronomy 13, 14, & 15

Take a moment to pray these scriptures over someone today.  You may want to READ or listen to chapters 13, 14, and 15 before you begin. (Click on the actual number of the chapter you want to listen to.)

(When you see the words “commands,” “laws,” and “decrees,” remember that this text was spoken to the Israelites regarding specific commands for them. We pray this regarding the commands God has given us in His complete Word.)

Deuteronomy 13:4     May ______ know that it is You, God, he/she must follow and You he/she must revere. May ______ keep Your commands and obey You. May ______ serve You and hold fast to You.

Deuteronomy 14:2     Moses said to the Israelites, “For you are a people holy to the Lord your God. Out of all the peoples on the face of the earth, the Lord has chosen you to be His treasured possession.” May ______ know that You also have chosen him/her to be Your treasured possession.

Deuteronomy 14:23b     May ______ learn to revere You, Lord, always.

Deuteronomy 15:10     May ______ give generously to [others] and do so without a grudging heart. And may You, Lord, bless ______ in all his/her work and in everything _______ puts his/her hand to.

QUESTION: Even if you’ve heard it before, let it sink in that You are the Lord’s treasured possession. Can you identify any lies that might keep you from believing this?

You are the Lord’s treasured possession. To whom can you tell this to today? #Deuteronomy Click To Tweet
